PRODUCTION ASSISTANT APPRENTICESHIP


TMS Productions is currently seeking a confident, organised, ambitious, and highly discrete Production Assistant to work alongside the two Producers in the Company. The Production Assistant will act in part as a Personal Assistant, providing administrative support to the team. In addition to these standard PA responsibilities, the successful PA will provide support to the core production team; assisting across aspects of the development of the film and TV slate.

This role is suited to someone who is willing to dedicate extensive hours to ensuring the successful delivery of the project. Please note that the role will involve unsocial hours. The ideal candidate will be degree level educated, or have at least one year's experience in a similar role. Fluent English is required.

This role will be a fantastic opportunity for anyone who is highly-motivated and wanting to gain experience in Film and TV production. 

The Role:

  • The successful applicant will assist our producers through all stages of production.

  • Assist with developing project pitch decks for investors and broadcasters.

  • Assist with budgeting.

  • Assist with scheduling.

  • Assist with commissioning process.

  • Assist with project submissions and script reading.

  • Assist with office administration including and not limited to filing, organisation, research, data input and spreadsheets.

  • Assist with some PA duties inc. managing meetings, diaries etc.

  • Assist with the development of our online presence including website and social media.

  • Assist with client meetings, taking minutes etc.

  • Assist with making and receiving phone calls.

  • Script coverage

  • Comfortable reading scripts

  • Entertainment industry experience.

  • Social Media knowledge.

Desired Education:

  • Relevant degree in film, media, production. 

Terms:

  • Working hours: 10 - 6 Monday to Friday subject to change on shoots/ in production.

  • 20 days annual leave plus public holidays.
